Abstract

Let a be an element of a C*-algebra A satisfying aa(dagger) = a(dagger)a, where a(dagger) is the Moore-Penrose inverse of a and let b is an element of A. We study several spectral properties concerning the commutativity of a and b. We deduce some new and old results concerning EP matrices. (c) 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
