Abstract

The system used in Spain for the construction of industrial brick chimneys in east and south east of Spain and those that have been its influence is described in this paper, from interviews with different master builders belonging to the Valencia and Murcia schools, with styles and systems of very different execution. The addressed systems implement the knowledge of the Spanish Construction History, of an item that had a short life though it was essential in industrial development and becomes the key for a possible restoration of the element.
