Abstract

Digital distractions present a significant challenge in higher education, impacting students' academic performance and ability to focus. This study explores methods to reduce digital distractions and improve academic performance by understanding the sources of these distractions and implementing strategies to raise awareness and foster self-regulation among students. The focus is specifically on students in engineering disciplines, including Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronic Engineering at ETSID UPV. By enhancing "learn to learn" competencies, this research aims to develop critical competencies for managing distractions.
